Over the millennia Greek civilization has offered countless sources of inspiration and cultural enrichment to people of all ages, and irrespective of ethnicity or cultural origins. It is our mission to make the vibrant legacy of Greece accessible to the widest possible audience.

The Hellenic-American Cultural Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, was established to promote high quality and relevant educational and cultural programs, concerts, lectures, exhibitions, and similar events for all persons interested in the history, culture and affairs of Greece and its people and the Greek Diaspora.

From the inspiration of Byzantine history to the Battle of Salamis, Beethoven’s 250th anniversary and the development of Artificial Intelligence, we have celebrated the rich diversity of Greek civilization and cross-cultural influences. As we move past our first decade, we have planned a number of events, from a tribute to Maria Callas and a discussion of Greece’s global impact on history, to an inside glimpse of the MET’s upcoming exhibit on Africa and Byzantium.

We look forward to seeing you at our next event, but in the meantime we invite you to view the videos we have recorded of our past events.
